BlackBerry not doomed? Here are 5 reasons why
Forbes.com have created a new article explaining about how ‘the technology world is a fickle beast’ : how one minute you can be top dog and the next minute ready for extinction. The scenario could be applied to BlackBerry.
Towards the end of 2010, BlackBery were flying high, their smartphones being bought by the general market made their sales figures extravagantly dreamy and their profits then reflected this. Until they got too ahead of themselves and released the flop we all know as the BlackBerry PlayBook. And yes, it was a flop.
The result was reported annual losses for RIM and the two executives stepping down. BlackBerry have been near-bottom of the pile since and are slowly (but surely IMO) crawling their way back to success.
But it’s not all doom and gloom for BlackBerry, as Forbes have suggested in their 5 reasons why BlackBerry is not down and out.
